Bradfield and Rougham Baptist Church

 Worship

Welcome to the BRBC worship page

We’re a fairly mixed bunch here at BRBC and our worship reflects that. The worship team (of about twenty) lead our services across the month, playing a mix of traditional hymns and new songs. We make every effort to keep Christ at the centre of everything that we do.

We are conscious of the second commandment from Exodus 20 v4-5 that says: "You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God..."

John Wesley said, "Pride makes a God of ourselves, covetousness makes a God of money, sensuality makes a God of the belly. Whatever is loved, feared, delighted in, or depended on more than God - that we make a god of."

Before every service we pray that God may be glorified in all that we do. As our Pastor Kenny is fond of saying, “The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.”

Amen to that.

Traditional Hymns

Here are some examples of traditional hymns sung by the folks at BRBC. I'm sure you'll agree that they sound in fine voice.
