 Leadership

The ministry at Bradfield and Rougham Baptist Church is led by Pastor Kenny Ross. Pastor Kenny is supported by David Romberger and a team of deacons, each of whom is responsible for a different area of church life.

Kenny Ross

Pastor Kenny Ross

"Hello, my name is Kenny Ross and I have been a pastor at Bradfield and Rougham Baptist Church (BRBC) since September 2005.

"Before beginning my training for the ministry I worked in various fields ranging from gardening to IT. Although prior to my conversion my main interests were in recreation and leisure.

"My wife, Gillian, and I moved to Suffolk in August 2005. We have four children, Samuel, Jordan, Bethany and Michael. We are originally from the county of Caithness in the Highlands of Scotland, where we lived up until 2005.

"From here we moved a little further south so I could attend the Highland Theological College. After four years I graduated and began pastoring a congregation in Lairg.

"After spending about 15 months in Lairg and really knowing and seeing the grace of God we felt called to BRBC, it was certainly not an easy decision but clearly the Lord's will. And that is how we come to find ourselves in Suffolk, it's just a pity about the mountains!"

David Romberger

Shirley & David Romberger

"Hi, I am David Romberger, 'the American' at BRBC, and I serve as Kenny's Pastoral Co-Worker/Elder. Having been in various mission fields since the 80's (Palestine, Belize, inner-city Philadelphia).

"I, along with my wife Shirley - a marriage and family therapist - left Florida, our two sons, their wives, and our five grandchildren in 2010 to bring to BRBC such time and talent with which we have been blessed.

"In what seems a lifetime ago, I practiced law in the U.S. (I'm a recovering attorney); but now Shirley and I are called to serve our Lord by serving His people, church members or not, here in Suffolk.

"We encourage you to freely contact us with your needs and your joys.

"And to echo Kenny's comment about the mountains... it's just a pity about the Gulf of Mexico!"
